azure.auth.validate_credentials ​

Validate Azure service principal credentials

Validate Azure service principal credentials by obtaining an access token from the Microsoft identity platform.

Inputs: none (credentials come from the azure plugin).

Outputs (terminal state_data):

  • tenant_id: str — Azure tenant ID
  • client_id: str — service principal (app) client ID
  • token_type: str — usually Bearer
  • expires_in: int — token lifetime in seconds
  • authenticated: bool — always true on success

Plugin required: context.get_plugin("azure") must expose:

  • .tenant_id
  • .client_id
  • .client_secret
